Kalliste OPUS Original live looped music
Want to see what my band does with a loopstation live?
This is a recent nice and intimate gig at Small Seeds, Huddersfield (UK) on 29 July 2018.
This is OPUS, an original track, with 8 instruments being played live looped by only 2 musicians and a rapper.
Probably best described as psychedelic funk-rap, this tune goes into so many different places. The video begins a few seconds into the song. Notice that everything is live looped. We do not use preset-samples or backing tracks...everything you hear has in fact been played in live with some being recorded on the fly, and triggered into continuous play with the loopstation.

I love at the end it just built and built and felt like a confusing huge wall of chaotic sound, not knowing what would happen next or who is in control - then suddenly you both stopped on a heartbeat. Amazing.
