Fretless bass improvisation 5 - melancholic melodic music
This one sounds quite dark, all in minor modes. Sounds somewhere between a romantic-era requiem and a Tool interlude. Melodic and with a definite harmony behind it. Playing lots of chords, which always sounds nice on a fretless bass.
As always, please be patient, the ideas start flowing after about a minute.
Recorded on Cubase with IK Multimedia's Guitar Rig virtual amps (ampeg model), with some effects (mostly reverb, some distortion). Bass is a fretless Squier Jazz Bass, Jaco Pastorius signature.

It is weird that I can watch youtube videos all day long. I wonder if there is something I'm doing wrong.

Yeah, dtube is sometimes slow for some reasons for some people. I've noticed it works better on Chrome than on Opera, at least for me.
