How to Make a Mummy complete process.

Friends during our voyage to the Pyramids of Giza we are to close to the process of Mummy making and here I am giving you the complete information regarding mummification.

These Mummy's were made around the world mainly in Egypt and the age was something 300 B.C. Pharaoh of Egypt started mummification of bodies.

Let's start the process of Making Mummy.

Step 1:
When someone died in ancient Egypt, the body was taken to the priests who during a multi-step process will slowly transform it from corpse to a mummy—a complete transition that could take as long as 70 days of process to make a Mummy.

Step 2: The Body arrives to the workshop of priest.
After death, the dead body is taken to one of the priests mummy workshops, which came in existence in Egypt from the Middle Kingdom (ca 1938 B.C.).

Step 3: Priest counselling and worship.
The priests give some ceremonial speech of life and death and incearnation to the dead person’s relatives and have them proper counselling to help them select the appropriate type of preservation process for their relatives or kin.

Step 4: Washing the Dead Body
Now the next step is to undress the body and washing of body starts, sometimes it is done by the priests itself or even by the dead person’s relatives themselves.

Step 5: Purification Process Starts
Next step is the wabet (“pure place”), where mummification process begins. Now the main process starts priests starts the process of separating the brain, and the lungs, liver, stomach, and intestines and after removing these parts next process starts.

Step 6: Body Filling with the Natron
Priests started the new process of filling Natron the Large quantities of natron (hydrated sodium carbonate), a natural substance found near salt lakes, are stored in the workshop for the process of mummification. Natron is known for rapidly and naturally dry out the human tissue.

**Step 7: Leave the body to Drying Out
After the cleansing of the corpse both inside and outside properly, corpse all cavities was filled with natron. Now priests leaves the body is dried for about 40 days.

Step 8: Preserving and Jarring the Organs
Now the next step takes place, body after being dried with natron, the intestines, stomach, liver, and lungs are first wrapped and then placed inside a set of four canopic jars separately.

Step 9: Start Perfuming and Preserving the body.
Now we are on the edge of completion of the process In order to preserve the cadaver, the resin is placed in the cranial cavity and the body is stuffed with linen tightly, straw, sawdust, and fragrant oils, sandal oils, and so many natural fragrances and preservatives.

Step 10: Warapping and Bandaging the Body
Priests started wrapping out the whole body with linen bandages and protected it with amulets, then mummy's beautification process takes place with cosmetic treatments lasts for several hours to complete bandaging the body.

Step 11: Completing all the final touches and process.
It's the Final and last step of the mummification process, now mummy may be covered with a shroud and funerary mask. After completing all the process of mummification now it's turn to put the canopic jars containing the dead person’s organs on the chest of the body.

After completing all the process, the mummy is placed in a casket, and sealed.

After a complete process of almost 70 days the effort is fruitful and the complete Mummy is ready now it can be moved to the tomb or temple for burials process and this mummy can be preserved for thousands years.
