Featuring the OPS Team
We have many great folks being involved stage side and behind the scenes, from development work, operations, processes and procedures, administration and communication to name a few. Those of you who recently went through the New DJ (NDJ) application process would have come across @uniwhisp, our Administrator for MSPWaves.com
A little about @uniwhisp
Nothing is simple about running a radio station. And for the team and leadership to rely on a trusted person to administer our website mspwaves.com is paramount for the smooth operations of our station.
@uniwhisp's responsibilities involves the onboarding of new shows, guiding new show hosts through the Permit to Broadcast, which is our process for peparing new hosts for their shows, to negotiate show schedules, to create IDs for our new DJs on mspwaves.com, adjust current shows to time zone changes where necessary, and to put key information up on mspwaves.com. That's a heck of a lot of responsibilities - and @uniwhisp is doing a sterling job keeping us organized.
Emotional Integration with @uniwhisp every Thu at 10 AM Eastern
The buck doesn't stop there with @uniwhisp. She also hosts an amazing show called Emotion Integration, which airs every Thursday from 3-5pm UTC. @uniwhisp explores different aspects of emotion and how to best integrate emotions into our busy lives - true life hacks that allow the listener to deal better with one's own and with the emotions of others.

MSP-WAVES Logo Contest
Yes, you read correctly. MSP-Waves is soon launching a MSP-Waves logo contest. We are looking for a professional logo for our station - and will announce our specification and contest rules and prize for the winner(s) soon - so stay tuned.
What else is Happening?
Apart from a logo contest, we have two more exciting announcements:
(1) We are going to redesign our website to make it, well, prettier and more user friendly.
(2) Also soon, work will start on an MSP Waves branded application for mobile devices, which will also allow us independence from the TWITCH service.
Apart from that, we are looking at technologies to make your MSP Waves stream more reliable.

All our volunteers work hard and plenty of overtime to operate the station - so we need reliable people with good communication and technical skills and the desire and capacity to help and become part of the team.
