Two More Full Force Thursday Metal Show Playlists — Plus, LIVE Streaming Music Show TONIGHT 🤘
Come listen to metal with me tonight?
I'm back home and in the studio, so it's time to get L O U D, with me — crimsonclad, Miss Modness if you nasty — just like every Thursday night. I'm back from gallivanting around the globe and am trying to get my head back into posting and into 'real life,' but for these three hours, I'd rather just hang out with the No Pants Piranhas and play some music with extreme force. I hope you'll join me and we can headbang and chatter about finding renewed inspiration together. Here's our first fun milestone: we've made it to ten full shows together!

When last we left off... it was fight night, and I was raring to go. I also did a show for you from a hot tub in Iceland under the aurora.
Here are two shows in a row's worth of playlists for you to check out. Episode 8 was full of the anger and joy and emotion that comes from listening to fight songs. I picked a list of tracks, both aggressive and empowering, that get my heart pumping, my blood boiling, or my spirit soaring. It was an awesome episode, and we had a lot of fun talking about all the things that drive us on a base level, and just how powerful music is. The second was inspired by travel and vikings, and was full of goofy asides as the hot tub bubbled and I talked about some of the crazy sorcery and cultural things I had the fortune to explore while trekking around Iceland! Both are good playlists, even if you're not hugely into the heavier, scarier metal.
Each of these were absolutely fun and raucous shows — thanks to YOU guys. Keep coming and chatting. Debate the merits of necropants. Make fun of the fact I talked so damn much I managed to run my battery out and cut off my own show. Roll your eyes as I fangirl about maiden. Joyfully yell, "SATAN DEMANDS A PIZZA," over and over.
There's just nothing that I enjoy more than playing my favourite music really loud and shooting the shit with you guys. Thank you.

Have you thought of releasing the show as podcast, too? I'm saying this because I'll most probably never be able to make it to it because of the time difference.

Thank you so much! I know, the time slot is a bit challenging. It's tough, as I do a mostly music/fun chat show. We pay for ALL of our music on @msp-waves radio in the form of licensing, but we are not allowed to play that music "on demand" to you, and releasing a podcast would, I believe, break that restriction. It's too bad, but we may look at a second, dedicated time to re-stream my shows moving forwards. The fun is definitely in my chatter and context for each playlist. Most MSPWaves Radio shows are talk and original content based, so they are able to be shared no problem. In my case, I'd have to cut out all the music, and that just wouldn't be too appealing. We hope as we grow, that music show archives will be able to be made available too.
That being said, I'll always release groups of playlists from each show, along with a perma-link to the monster mammajamma total Full Force Thursday overlist of awesome™ so if you're a metal fan, at the very least you can hopefully find some kickin' new music to love. Keep rocking! 🤘
I did check out the most recent playlists I found. I don't think I would mind an all chatter and talk show and I do listen to some metal podcasts like that, so I personally wouldn't mind all the music cut out, but when the music is such a large part of the show, it probably doesn't make much sense to go into it (or you would already be doing it). We'll see, maybe there will indeed be a Thursday night when I would be working late and would end up catching the show.
