Cover page for "Android Blues" comic
This was one of the images I rendered out when my graphic novel was still in screenplay form. The script has since changed and this particular scene been cut, but in a nutshell it was Lisa, the main character, who is an android, on the run for a crime she didn't commit. She takes a break to clean up in a public wash room, and has a vision of herself as a little girl - which never happened, as her memories of a childhood are fake, implants to help her brain develop properly. Because her "birth" was bungled, she became a split personality, and the child version was one of the splits.
I will post more about my comic later.

I was on CGtalk way back when, I started following your work when Optidigit was still around. I only met you twice or thrice in person, so I don't think you remember me lol. But I do remember Android Blues was your baby.
After the frustrating story about....well you know what happened....I never thought you'd come back to Malaysia hahaha.
ah wow that's more than ten years then... well it was sad what happened, but even sadder what happened to me and my family in USA (industry crisis and debt etc), but when I finally wised up and left the US and came back here, and joined another company trying to do what we tried to do earlier but failed... things got better again. :)
Scary stuff is scary. Now I can't sleep :p

STOPSounds like a good story concept and great image. Was it just this scene that was cut or the whole split personality element?
Thanks, I changed it a bit, not explicitly split into multiple versions of herself, but she still has hallucinations, for instance she sometimes talks to a character only she can see that looks like the devil :)
