Not everything is for sale; not everything is about money-Money won't create success, the freedom to make it will.
The great Western disease is, ‘I'll be happy when? When I get the money. When I get a BMW. When I get this job. When I get the relationship,’ Well, the reality is, you never get to when. The only way to find happiness is to understand that happiness is not out there. It's in here. And happiness is not next week. It's now.Happiness comes from spiritual wealth, not material wealth... Happiness comes from giving, not getting. If we try hard to bring happiness to others, we cannot stop it from coming to us also.To get joy, we must give it, and to keep joy, we must scatter it.It is good to have money and the things that money can buy, but it's good too, to check up once in a while and make sure you haven't lost the things money can't buy.
These days, in our materialistic culture, many people are led to believe that money is the ultimate source of happiness. Consequently, when they don’t have enough of it they feel let down. Therefore, it is important to let people know that they have the source of contentment and happiness within themselves, and that it is related to nurturing our natural inner values.Money has never made man happy, nor will it, there is nothing in its nature to produce happiness. The more of it one has the more one wants.
You can only become truly accomplished at something you love. Don’t make money your goal. Instead pursue the things you love doing and then do them so well that people can’t take their eyes off of you.
Does money upset the hearts of learned men? He answered, "men whose hearts are changed by money are not learned"
Wealth after all is a relative thing since he that has little and wants less is richer than he that has much and wants more......!!!!
Things Money can't Buy,
1•Money can't buy Love
If money could buy us happiness then some of the richest people on earth would be more than one million times more happier!!!The only thing money really buys?...Space. A bigger house, a bigger car, a larger hotel room. First-class plane tickets. But it doesn't even buy comfort. No one complains more than the rich and entitled.Comfort, security, ease. None of them come with money.
Infuse your life with action. Don't wait for it to happen. Make it happen. Make your own future.Make your own hope. Make your own love. And whatever your beliefs, honor your creator, not by passively waiting for grace to come down from upon high, but by doing what you can to make grace happen... yourself, right now, right down here on Earth.
Work like you don't need the money. Love like you've never been hurt. Dance like nobody's watching.
2•Money can't buy Character
Character cannot be developed in ease and quiet. Only through experience of trial and suffering can the soul be strengthened, ambition inspired, and success achieved.Character contributes to beauty. It fortifies a woman as her youth fades. A mode of conduct, a standard of courage, discipline, fortitude, and integrity can do a great deal to make a woman beautiful.Weakness of attitude becomes weakness of character...Money is Attitude
You cannot dream yourself into a character; you must hammer and forge yourself one.The true measure of an individual is how he treats a person who can do him absolutely no good. The best index to a person's character is how he treats people who can't do him any good, and how he treats people who can't fight back.
3•Money can't buy Respect
When we treat people merely as they are, they will remain as they are. When we treat them as if they were what they should be, they will become what they should be.Treat people the way you want to be treated. Talk to people the way you want to be talked to. Respect is earned, not given.Never judge someone by the way he looks or a book by the way it's covered; for inside those tattered pages, there's a lot to be discovered.
The most beautiful things are not associated with money; they are memories and moments. If you don't celebrate those, they can pass you by.
Respect was invented to cover the empty place where love should be.
Attitude is a choice. Happiness is a choice.Optimism is a choice. Kindness is a choice. Giving is a choice. Respect is a choice. Whatever choice you make makes you. Choose wisely..
4•Money can't buy Manners
Respect for ourselves guides our morals, respect for others guides our manners.A man's manners are a mirror in which he shows his portrait.Good manners will open doors that the best education cannot.Practice self-awareness, self-evaluation, and self-improvement. If we are aware that our manners - language, behavior, and actions - are measured against our values and principles, we are able to more easily embody the philosophy, leadership is a matter of how to be, not how to do.
Good manners are cost effective. They not only increase the quality of life in the workplace, they contribute to employee morale, embellish the company image, and play a major role in generating profit....The man who practises unselfishness, who is genuinely interested in the welfare of others, who feels it a privilege to have the power to do a fellow-creature a kindness - even though polished manners and a gracious presence may be absent - will be an elevating influence wherever he goes.
5•Money can't buy Patience
I believe that a trusting attitude and a patient attitude go hand in hand. You see, when you let go and learn to trust God, it releases joy in your life. And when you trust God, you're able to be more patient. Patience is not just about waiting for something... it's about how you wait, or your attitude while waiting.
Patience, persistence and perspiration make an unbeatable combination for success.
Patience is the companion of wisdom and Money.
Every great dream begins with a dreamer. Always remember, you have within you the strength, the patience, and the passion to reach for the stars to change the world.
6•Money can't buy Class
Show class, have pride, and display character. If you do, winning takes care of itself.Where justice is denied, where poverty is enforced, where ignorance prevails, and where any one class is made to feel that society is an organized conspiracy to oppress, rob and degrade them, neither persons nor property will be safe.
The history of all previous societies has been the history of class struggles.
God does not discriminate against people, regardless of color, religion, social class, or gender and sexual preferences.
Indeed, the existence of class, of social hierarchy, is as old as man himself. It prevails in the jungle where strength determines hierarchy; among men,
it has also been savagely the same, whereby rulers vested with power through personal combat, or through lineal heritage as in the case of royalty, ravage their subjects. We only live once, but once is enough if we do it right. Live your life with class, dignity, and style so that an exclamation, rather than a question mark signifies it!
7•Money can't buy Integrity
Goodness is about character - integrity, honesty, kindness, generosity, moral courage, and the like. More than anything else, it is about how we treat other people. The supreme quality for leadership is unquestionably integrity. Without it, no real success is possible, no matter whether it is on a section gang, a football field, in an army, or in an office.
A single lie destroys a whole reputation of integrity.
To give real service you must add something which cannot be bought or measured with money, and that is sincerity and integrity.
With integrity, you have nothing to fear, since you have nothing to hide. With integrity, you will do the right thing, so you will have no guilt. We learned about honesty and integrity - that the truth matters... that you don't take shortcuts or play by your own set of rules... and success doesn't count unless you earn it fair and square.
Honesty and integrity are by far the most important assets of an entrepreneur.
8•Money can't buy Trust
Love myself I do. Not everything, but I love the good as well as the bad. I love my crazy lifestyle, and I love my hard discipline. I love my freedom of speech and the way my eyes get dark when I'm tired. I love that I have learned to trust people with my heart, even if it will get broken. I am proud of everything that I am and will become...Most good relationships are built on mutual trust and respect.
I truly believe that everything that we do and everyone that we meet is put in our path for a purpose. There are no accidents; we're all teachers - if we're willing to pay attention to the lessons we learn, trust our positive instincts and not be afraid to take risks or wait for some miracle to come knocking at our door. You can't connect the dots looking forward; you can only connect them looking backwards. So you have to trust that the dots will somehow connect in your future. You have to trust in
something - your gut, destiny, life, karma, whatever. This approach has never let me down, and it has made all the difference in my life.
The best way to find out if you can trust somebody is to trust them.
Trust yourself. Create the kind of self that you will be happy to live with all your life. Make the most of yourself by fanning the tiny, inner sparks of possibility into flames of achievement.
9•Money can't buy Common Sense
It is common sense to take a method and try it. If it fails, admit it frankly and try another, but above all try something.Common sense is the ability to see things as they are without prejudice and do things as they ought to be done without influence of any kind......Common sense is an instinct given to man and enough of it is genius.Smartness is measured by the level of common sense one has, not by how much educated or knowledgeable he is.
Believe nothing, no matter where you read it, or who said it, no matter if I have said it, unless it agrees with your own reason and your own common sense. It is a thousand times better to have common sense without education than to have education without common sense.
Common sense is the foundation of all authorities, of the laws themselves, and of their construction.
Common sense and a sense of humor are the same thing, moving at different speeds. A sense of humor is just common sense, dancing.Nothing is more fairly distributed than common sense; no one thinks he needs more of it than he already had.
Common sense would suggest that having ability, like being smart, inspires confidence. It does, but only while the going is easy. The deciding factor in life is how you handle setbacks and challenges. People with a growth mindset welcome setbacks with open arms.
