Thanks for pointing me to this post, I think I have never watched a movie from Iran but I will give this a shot to see what it is about!
I have to recommend you a couple of movies that are also legally available on Youtube to watch for free. Maybe you have already watched them, but if you haven't, make sure to take the time and enjoy these 2 films. I really think you will love them both. The first one is called The Man from Earth
and the second one is the second part called The Man from Earth Holocene.
Yes, I've seen that one, in the early 2000s, but don't remember too much of it.
Touch of Evil and The Trial are my favorite Welles movies. Citizen Kane was mentioned so much when I was studying film, that I got tired of it.

There's a bunch of interesting movies from Iran. 'Under the Shadow' is a(n original) horror movie very much worth watching.
I remember the Man from Earth to be pretty intriguing. Didn't know about a sequel. Cool that it's on YouTube. Will put it on my to see list.
