Yes, German silent films are fantastic, but I have to admit it gets on my nerves that so many film buffs CAN'T. STOP. SLOBBERING. OVER. THEM.
If I wasn't already familiar with the quality of German silent films, I would probably go out of my way to avoid them, just to spite all the rabid devotees out there.
