COURAGE: THE MOVIE

I want to share with you, a new experience I've been involved in for a while now.

I and my friend Decent Promise wrote a story. The story is about a young girl who is very talented in creating music, but very timid. She grew up in a single parent family, her mum was an extremely talented music artiste but got lost to drug abuse and became a pathetic addict.

Because of that experience, her relationship with herself and everyone is different. Her father doesn't like her doing music, she grew up as a child watching her dad tear up her music notes, or hearing violent 'No's' whenever she's caught singing or doing anything music related, in a bit to protect his daughter from the experience her mother went through, he kicks against music, vehemently. That led to some kind of depression and uncertainty about who she was. Life was just there... with no liberty to be passionate about anything.

But then, she came to the campus, and was known as the very timid and shy girl in the midst of friends that were very crazy and drug abusers😂😂.

Anyways, one day, she mistakenly decided to turn on the mic 🎤, and that was it!!! BIG TROUBLE

Just wait till the movie comes out so you could enjoy the suspense and end.😂

COURAGE is a hip hop, music, dance and arts movie. The story portrays the effect of association on someone's personality, it also shows the harm of drug abuse. It bridges a gap between what people know about drugs and what they don't, parents, young people and older persons can relate to the story.

Anyways..... I'm writing to you about my experience in shooting this movie.

The Director of this movie is Director Decent Promise (He is an amazing young man) the Production Company is Star Zone Africa also owned by Director Decent Promise.

This movie is beyond anything Nollywood has seen.

Now about my experience on this project..........

First, let me outline my responsibilities to "PROJECT COURAGE"

I wrote the story; so sometimes I do some (just a smidgen of) directing 😝 and continuity for the success of the movie.

Second✌
I'm playing one of the lead roles, in the character of Kemi; she's the lead character's crazy friend, who is also a drug abuser, temperamental and almost always angry.

Third👌
My Fashion company, Katartizo Fashions 👗👚👘👖👔👕👙👜👛👠👟👞🎒👝👢👡 is the official costumier for the movie Courage.

Fourth and my favourite 😉 (saved the best for last)👍

I'm one of the music directors for the movie.
I wrote the 2 theme songs for the movie, the first is called 'Courage' which is played at the introductory stages of the movie, and then the next is 'Dreamz' which is the hit song for the movie, and performed towards the end. I also wrote a kinda love song for a scene, it's titled 'Pinky Swears'.

And.....

I also directed all the music for the rap battles that took place in the movie.
