Animation movie "Loving Vincent" (2017)

The picture is the first-ever animation feature film which is completely drawn on a canvas with oil paints. 125 artists who have created thousands of frames in Van Gogh's equipment worked on creation of the Polish-English cinema. The result is absolutely improbable, the movie in fact — one big work of art.

The statistics of the project which has won prizes at the international festivals in Ansi and Shanghai impresses: 800 letters have formed the basis of the scenario, more than 100 pictures and sketches shifted to 65 000 frames became a basis of the large-scale project. It not only an example of diligence and commitment, but also true awe of the Master who hasn't received lifetime glory.

The picturesque equivalent of the moral law in us remains to the discretion of the viewer, but the best illustration to the Kant star sky over the head (from the work by Kant "Criticism of practical mind") filling soul with sacred awe than "Starlit night" of Van Gogh, not to find. Bequeathed by the Master it is executed by the descendants who have passed on his trace as it is specified in the name of a tape — with love.
