Movie Review: Tag (2018) Figured out why Hawkeye was missing from İnfinty War

He was playing child games with his friends while half of the universe vanished. Good job Hawkeye !

Tag is a 2018 movie directed by Jeff Tomsic (Who worked on so many TV shows). Jeff Tomsic makes his first appearance on big screen with Tag. Which ı can say ı will look forward to see his movies eagerly in cinemas after this movie. Because ı thoroughly enjoyed the movie. Tag's main cast consist Ed Helms whom we know from Hangover series, Mad Men's star Jon Hamm, Jake Johnson, with his unique take on comedy Hannibal Buress and Jeremy Renner.

Movie is inspired from real events and about 5 guy's decision to keep their inner childs alive. One month of every year these guys plays country wide tag. They try to tag each other when they least expect it. We dive in to an example of this with a scene of Ed Helms trying to get a janitor job in his friends company to tag and recruit him to tag their untagged friend for the first time because he thinks he'l be vulnerable in his wedding day . He manages to tag his friend in middle of his Wall Street Journal interview. After seeing two grown man start to play a game of tag reported Annabelle Wallis decides to make this game her story. So starts a heart warming 180 minutes of hijinks.

Tag is a more of a situational comedy movie. So you shouldnt expect any clever jokes. But you'l find many funny situations and some cool scenes where Jeremy Renners untagged characters demonstrates how he stays untagged.(Spoiler alert he watched one too many Sherlock Holmes fighting scenes). After watching this movie you'l feel like calling your friends for a beer especially after the ending footoge of real tag game from the guys whom movie event inspired.

A heart warming summer movie, should watch 7/10
