Scream Power?

Are you afraid of the dark? Do you know about the monsters in your closet? This is a Hollywood animation movie that of course has a happy ending and is suitable for the family.



What do you do when you power your city from the screams of children and they are becoming harder to scare? That is the dilemma faced by the CEO of monsters Inc. Add to that, that children are "known" to be toxic to monsters, so recruiting new monsters to work for you is also getting harder.

We have two monsters, the big blue one called Sulley and his friend the little green cyclops Mike. The adventure begins when a little girl manages to sneak into the monster world through a portal that was left open by Sulley. They find that human children are not toxic to monsters, and now need to find a way to get her back to her world before being discovered.

There have to be bad guys of course, these are Randall and the CEO of monsters inc, the two of them have been working on a plan to kidnap children and force screams out of them using the "scream extractor". They of course find out about the little girl in their world.

Will good triumph over evil? Given it is a Hollywood movie, is there really any doubt? But what to do about the power requirements of the monster city? As it turns out laughter is much more potent than screams, so in the end we have happy times all round.
