Your post has quite a poetic ring to it. However, the question to my mind is, are we still "there", if no one remembers us and no one is there to receive the Facebook notification? Isn't memory worthless, unless it exists in a human mind, as opposed to a digital one?

In the olden days, people were written about in papers, at the latest in their paid obituary. Are they still "there", if only on yellowed paper or microfiche in the publisher's basement? What strange thoughts mortality vs. eternity can trigger...
