I love the outline of those mountains, they're like semi discs stacked on top of other. How tall are they?
That is Medicine Bow Peak (12,018 ft (3,663 m)). The Medicine Bows are a mountain range in the Rocky Mountains.

Me too! I love being in the mountains. Where I live I am surrounded by flat prairie land, which I love, but going to the mountains is magical.
I remember how cold mountain lakes can be. I also know that when canoeing on a mountain lake leave the dog at home or firmly locked in the car. that way you do not get a swamped canoe.
Oh no! That sounds like an adventure that would literally take your breath away!
He probably knows all about swamped canoes and row boats and is why you are dog sitting. LoL.

Taking care of other people's dogs is the best way to have a dog! Kind of like grandkids, you can spoil them and enjoy them and then send them home again!
