Monster Energy Supercross Round 2 Houston - Full Video HD
Wo0ho0! Race day has come and gone and with it a whole ton of racing action. Round two is going to be very different to Anaheim in that the track is very lose and was completely rebuilt from the practice sessions earlier.
We have two huge woop sections in Houstons track this week and these will evolve rapidly as the heats progress towards the main.
Breaking news
Eli Tomac, whilst present during the practice sessions has announced he will be pulling out for this week. Similar to the news i wrote about with Dean Wilson here, Tomac will also be sidelining himself for this race. Again like Wilson, he is very frustrated with the bad luck this early on but i think it's the sensible move.
So steemers, enough chat! Crab a coffee, grab a seat and DROP THAT GATE! :)
The thing with Supercross is that anything can happen, even when you thought the unthinkable has happened, something else just unfolds right in front of you like what happened in the 450 heat...talk about another spanner in the works right?!
Anyway it’s shaping up to be a wide open field this year but as a Tomac fan I am really hoping he hasn’t injured his shoulder too badly and can make a comeback especially now given the shake up in points standings!
Yeah was a real shock to see that in the 450 heat... Very unlike him but pressure gets everyone in the end. Definitely shakes things up :)
