Anyone who watched the final round of the Internazionali D'Italia i posted here would have saw the horrific crash Tim Gajser had. Gajser misjudged the jump and massively over-jumped it which caused him to crash and knocked him unconscious out on the track.

This was a huge shock as Tim Gajser was right behind series leader Antonio Cairoli and running in second place for most of the race. Things went from bad to worst though for the Slovenian when Jeremy Van Horebeek managed to pass the former champ a few turns before the crash. Factory Honda HRC have released an official update on Tim Gajser which sounds promising.

"Gajser was conscious, he interacted with the medical staff and showed full body movement. Results from MRI scans to head and cervical spine were clear. Gajser is currently undergoing a surgical operation to repair two fractures in his jaw bone."

No timeline has been put on his recovery yet but i very much doubt he will have the all clear to ride the MXGP Opener in Patagonia-Argentina which is only two weeks time. I wish him the best of luck on his recovery and hope to see him back riding soon.
