Your Niceness To All

in #motivational5 years ago

You do not measure someone's niceness by the way the person relates to the people that are better or higher than them. For example; if you treat your boss at office with contempt, you may stand the risk of losing your job. However, somone's niceness is truely measured by how the person treats the people that he considers as less or subordinate to him.

If you show kindness to only those that can displace you but do not give any form of kindness to the rest, then your kindness is not complete and is questionable.

If your partner, boyfriend or girlfriend treats you with a deserved kindness but treats the gateman, the nanny, the gardener, the chef, the driver with cruelty, will you feel comfortable? Will you even consider the person as being nice? Obviously not.

When showing kindness, it should not be based on class or position or social status, it should be to everyone and anyone. Believe me, everyone, irrespective of their social status will appreciate the person that treats them fairly. Some people you see are being treated cruelly by life itself, and adding your own cruelty to them may make them to be shattered inside.

You will be surprised to know that your acts of kindness may go a very long way to lift and sustain someone's spirit and even bring them out of depression. It may even be the only hope that they will need to walk out of depression - so do not be stingy with your niceness and do not make it selective to only a few.

Your friends and family should benefit from your acts of kindness but much more than that, even those you do not know should be part of it. I will quickly ask this question as a way of conclusion: Since the day began, how many people have benefited from your kindness and how many people have sincerely smiled because of your acts of kindness? Think about this.

In reality people are mostly nice for what they stand to get in return and it's often difficult to discern altruistic niceness really. Its a REALITY we're etched in. I enjoyed reading this one.

Well said, thanks for your input.
