Patience is Key

Patience is having a mindset of holding on even when your strength has failed.

Patience is a virtue; it is waiting in the midst of discomfort without complaints but with a strong believe that there is always light at the end of the tunnel. No man is immune from challenge but how he approaches it, impacts his life. There is something unique that is birthed out from a person who overcomes the challenge that was meant to kill him. When such a person overcomes, he becomes an asset while others who lacked to patient to wait become spectators.

We must always believe that everything we are going through is a process and that we are not alone in it. The process is to refine and beautify us and now to harm us. The heat of a fire is dangerous to a human skin but it is the right temperature for gold to pass through. When the heat increases, know that you are like a diamond or gold NOT a shaft that will get burnt and destroyed in the process.

Patience originates from God; ask Him for grace to wait it out. When God tells you that you will go through a particular process or situation in life, you will (Jeremiah 29). It is better you follow the process in accordance with the will of God than disobey and miss the mark because you cannot rewrite what the Lord has written. Wait it out in praise and great expectation and give yourself realistic targets and then work towards them in an obsessive yet steady manner.

The Lord who has given you the privilege to see the situation will bring out the best of you at the end.
