Today's achievement is tomorrow's mediocrity. Like you rightly stated brother, those who live on past glory would never go far. See how Argentina struggled to advance, now Germany is out. France should be next hahahaha. Big names and your past achievement doesn't matter any more in today's game, you need to always evolve. The same with life, we should never feel too comfortable with past achievements. I can say the same with our national team. I doubt if we are still the giant of Africa.

Yes, there are some African nations i thought wouldn't go far: Senegal to be exact. With their two games, i was impressed. They were so unlucky to concede rhw second goal in their second game. I am seriously rooting for them again.
You are right, we should constantly seek to be better than we were before and humility drives that on.
