When successful people stress that you should start little than not starting at all, some see them as an enemy "may be he doesn't want me to beg him" , "may be she doesn't want me to be better than her" you are so wrong. I have come across people with wild dreams but little asset so instead of starting with what is available they wait until they are able to achieve that wild dream in one trial.

Waiting is a time killer, while you are waiting someone else is turning droplets of water into an ocean, someone else is making mistakes and taking correction, someone else is gaining experience, someone else is building foundation, someone else is doing something.

Starting little doesn't mean that you are limiting your goals, you don't just wake up and find yourself at the top. You want to be a content creator for Forbes.com so you won't write elsewhere until you get that offer, you want to be the owner of the biggest spa in the world so you won't start small until you can afford that.

If you keep waiting to start big you might die a dreamer. You will not have any experience or good review to show off when luck knocks at the door. The big things you admire didn't start from there, it is even more risky to start big than to start small and many people that try to visualize the beauty of owning big firms don't really know what it takes to manage it, the work load, the sacrifices, the pains and many more.

Starting small gives you room for growth, you have the chance to test run with little to loose, it prevents procrastination and stagnancy.

This shouldn't stop you from thinking big or starting big if you have the means to do so, this should only stop you from doing nothing.
