It's Allowed to be Weak..
There is no honor in acting strong, acting like all your shit is together when in real life you are struggling.
There is no reward for acting like your life is full of smiles when deep down you are are broken.And there is no shame in accepting that sometimes it's allowed to be weak,that it's not a crime to have your low moments.
Instead of hiding them behind inspirational quotes,or numerous bible quotes embrace those moments of when you are struggling with your inner self, always have people you can walk to and talk about the shit in your life.
Such people are rare but they are there- always be keen to spot such among your friends.
Perfecting living in denial will weigh down on you someday and maybe it will be too late for those who could help to step in.
Don't live all your life sorrounding yourself with people who think that you should always be postive about everything in life, people who think that perfection is the only real definition of good life.
Have people who embrace your flaws- people who know that once in a while you will also struggle,go through pain but still they stand with you.
Posturing happiness will only help mask the pain you are going through but not for long -If your life is all about happiness then you're living a lie ,a lie that will come to haunt you when you can no longer mask the pain deep in your heart.

Key point in choosing your circle of influence @elsiekjay, It's not about lifelong friends @bashadow, from my personal experience those can be the worst sometimes.
I recently experienced what it means to have a good circle around, they really don't have to be your friend, though some kind or a relationship will be formed, usually they see the best in you, and will do whatever it takes to bring it out of you with no ulterior motive.
Why?
Becasue they don't need anything from you.
That is what those lifelong friends are for, to have someone to tell your hurts and woes to, to get the shit off your chest, and to just be there through the thick and thin of it.
