ZIZO plans to find a coach bench soon
Zidane has paved the way for an upcoming coaching bench return saying he hopes to return to a "soon" position. Zidane had decided to leave Real Madrid to the surprise at the end of last season, five days after leading the club to a third consecutive Champions League. The Frenchman felt that a change was necessary for the club "to continue winning". Since then, rumors have sent him to Manchester United, where the post of Jose Mourinho appears more and more precarious. "I'm definitely going to take a coaching post again," Zidane told RTVE on Sunday night. "Because I like it and (football), that's what I've done all my life." Zidane started his coaching career at Castilla, Real Madrid's reserve team, in 2014, before taking charge of the first team in 2016 following the dismissal of Rafael Benitez. He led Madrid to the title the following year but finished only third last season, 17 points behind Barcelona.
