Version 4 of The Morale Measurement Tool, hopefully, the final!

MORALE: the mental and emotional condition (as of enthusiasm, confidence, or loyalty) of an individual or group with regard to the function or tasks at hand, a sense of common purpose with respect to a group, esprit de corps.

Apart from workplace surveys, there is no real workplace tool for measuring Morale, so I came up with this concept which can be adapted for use by Employers and Employees.

This version is an easy to use chart ideally used on magnetic boards and laminated for whiteboard marking.

Place a mark in each area that your workplace has a problem with, add up the total score and write the total number in the keyhole.
This can be updated daily and reset weekly, or updated weekly and reset monthly.
Recording scores can be done to assess patterns, improvements or declines over time.
Each workplace can adapt and determine how to best use this system.
Write down the specific issues under "Issues Raised" column so that the team can address these as they arise.

Workplaces with a high Morale reportedly have less mental health issues such as Depression.

Acronyms:
SL = Sick Leave.
FAI = First Aid Injury.
LTI = Lost Time Injury.
CDR = Customer Dissatisfaction Report.
UNQ = Unqualified.
5S = Sort, Set In order, Shine, Standardize and Sustain.

In the below example a workplace scored an 8, with 0 being the highest Morale and a score of 21 being the lowest Morale.
