I'm glad you found an opportunity between your trees and the earlier clouds to participate.
The Harvest Moon is the closest to the autumn equinox, and your capture today made it seem just an arms' length away. A video coming too? Love it!
I just listened on my cell phone to some of the drumming from last night and it sounds pretty bad. I'm not sure I have even 30 seconds worth of presentable recording out of the whole night. Thank you for the next direction suggestion in my camera adventure. I think you're right, a decent mic on the GoPro is my best bet. Finger's crossed.
Ah yes I have been there many times- so FRUSTRATING. Well I am a nut about audio. I mean when there is a video with vicious wind noise, it makes me want to plug my ears lol. To me bad audio just detracts so much fro the whole video experience. Of course audio is very important to your whole subject matter when you like to hear the drums as close as to how there were in the moment. Here is my full upvote towards a mic some day :)
Here is your private showing of last nights #drumcircle. The sound is so bad I'm canceling the post but this is mostly of the crowd gathering and 30 seconds of drumming at the end.
I think that is really cool to see so many people getting out and getting into the experience. Young to old it seems like everyone was enjoying the time. I always wondered if there are mosquitoes out there?
Not to many mosquitoes here in Colorado and I would think less in the Garden of the Gods Park because its mostly rock, sand and clay with very little rain.
