Time flies. Funan Centre which used to be one of the major place to get you tech stuff was demolished for redevelopment few years ago. Recently, at the City Hall MRT train station, I saw this advertisement and found that the new building will open on 28th June but I guess it won't be the same. Most likely more eating places in there like what many other shopping centres have become.

We basically are down to Best Buy or Walmart for tech in the store. Everyone has gone to online.
I have been to both before. I remember I bought a JVC mini-compo from Best Buy before Walmart became more of the place for everything.
