Halving
Término referente al evento en que se reduce por la mitad la recompensa recibida por los mineros al completar un bloque en una cadena distribuida, que funcione con Prueba-de-Trabajo (conocido en inglés como Proof-of-Work). En Bitcoin ocurre sucede cada 210.000 bloques minados.
