Monomad Photo Contest - Rusty liaisons

My entry to Monomad Photo Contest hosted by @monochromes is about liaisons. Hinges, more precisely.

This summer I photographed an old barn. The entire building and some close up shots. One of the most interesting subjects, were the hinges.
Covered in a thin layer of rust, these hinges are still doing their job keeping the doors at their places.
An interesting fact, these hinges are handmade. I know from my grandparents that a local blacksmith used to do these items. The creator is long gone now but his work survives despite the time's ruthless effect.
