MonoMad Photographic Contest - Entry #5 -- Infrared trees
An infrared photo of trees. Photo taken in Ithaca, New York during summer (in the month of June). The equipment used was a camera Sony DSC-F717 and a Hoya IR filter R72.
This is my fifth and final entry in this week MonoMad photography contest, run by @brumest. The theme of the contest is trees.
My previous entries in this contest are 1, 2, 3 and 4.
Would love to try infrared one day. Did you have to modify your camera?
No. You need to check that your camera captures infrared and you also need an IR filter.
Yeah I read about that. I have a Canon 5d and I would need to modify it for that purpose.
Won't do!
The old digital cameras usually "see" the IR. I suspect that the Canon 5d, does not capture the IR.
