MonoMad Photographic Contest - Clouds Entry #1 -- Clouds in Infrared
This is my first entry in this week MonoMad photography contest, run by @brumest. The theme of the contest is clouds.
This infrared photo shows a park with tropical vegetation, which reflects the infrared, therefore the tree leaves and grass are in white. The clouds also reflect the infrared so they are also white. The water and the sky are dark because they absorb the infrared. The cloud formation in this image is quite interesting.
The photo was taken at the gardens of the Universidad Simón Bolívar campus at Caracas.
The equipment used was a camera Sony DSC-F717 with an Hoya IR filter R72 and a tripod.
