Dog person for sure. My best friends got two dogs. Sometimes when we party together and me and my wife are sleep there, there is a time about 5am when those dogs come to our bed and lie in our legs. It's soooo awesome. This bond between dogs and people is incredible

I've got 2 of each and one of the cats is more like a dog, he just has that personality.
I like my dog best, but the cats sure are fun to tease.

That does remind me, our first cat was a Norwegian Forest cat, a big, quiet long haired guy who would follow us around everywhere! If we went on a walk down the road, he would follow! I think the breed is known for that. Come to think of it, that really set the tone for me liking cats.

Loki (like, the Trickster, from Norse mythology - seems to fit a Norwegian cat). Also, he was very low-key.

Thanks @jchauhan. Well he was a black and white cat, so the only thing that actually changed was probably the eyes! But yeah, cats sure have the best eyes!

I'm coming around to dogs - I definitely appreciate them, but didn't grow up around them to become familiar and comfortable. I like the quiet, reliable dogs who don't make a fuss and take over people's lives, but still like to be involved.
I've always liked cats. They're independent and keep to themselves most of the time, and I get that. I could never make an argument saying that they're man's best friend - they're definitely their own best friend, but for some reason I like them all the same, in exactly the same way I wouldn't if they were human and had the same characteristics. Hey, it doesn't have to make sense! :p
Well it all made sense to me! They are cute. And yes they have their own personalities. I know some grumpy annoying dogs too, as I know some really sweet cats that are always on top of their human. So you have a point there. So you are a catdog person ha ha ha.
I guess I just like nice people and animals, when it comes down to it. :p
