When I read the contest announcement, this photo first came to mind. I thought I had it on my photo gallery website, but I couldn't find it there, so I grabbed this from my archive.

I tried to find out what the name of this plant is. An image search led me to believe these are Calla Lilies. Anyone know? These grow in San Francisco, California, USA. The flowers are white while the leaves are bright green.
