This photo is my entry for the Monomad contest.

I took the day off to go up north here in canada, the further i went the colder and grayer it got, as some point i needed to take a break driving and i ended up in front of this massive hill covered in trees and snow, the temperature was below zero and the winds were getting stronger, i was feeling the mighty hand of winter and how small i am in front of this massive landscape of beauty and fear.
Gear: Nikon d40 with a 50mm 1.8 analog lens. Shot in black and white and edit in photoshop. I also use plastic bags on top of my lens to give a vintage smear effect.
