Monochrome Hummingbird Sage
Hummingbird Sage, Salvia spathacea is a plant native to southern and central California. It gets it's name from all the Hummingbirds it attracts. I came across it after hiking the Fryman Canyon trail up to the Treepeople Center.

Beautiful. I love the hummingbirds of the Americas; this plant looks purpose grown for them ;-)
