Yosemite National Park
Recently I am visiting Yosemite National Park yet again. Not only it is one of the most popular National Park in the US; but also it is the birthplace of many things.... large format B&W Photography, Big Wall Climbing, start of John Muir Trail .... the list is long. It is a deep glaciated U-shaped valley with towering granite walls on either sides. Often rivers dive into the valley from “sky”. Like the Yosemite Falls below:
This is where pioneers of landscape photography like Ansel Adams worked. There is still his original studio and gallery preserved in the valley. It is hard to describe the valley and it’s importance in the evolution of photography and conservation movement. So I am not going to try. I will just post another photo of lower and upper Yosemite Falls and let it do the talking:
On a lighter note; did I play Pokémon Go there? Yes I did! Cell phone signal is hard to get and patchy but yeah there’s Pokémon there to catch.

Sure I am alive. There is life beyond steemit you know :). I am at a remote location where there is no cell phone signal. I have satellite uplink but I am using it prudently. Sometimes it is better to disconnect.
