I was browsing the support forums, and nearly became depressed reading all the distressed calls for help from people who had their accounts closed for the most simple and stupid reasons. If this is the main way of monetization we have to rely on currently, then we don't have anything too reliable. If there were a YouTube-like section of Steemit that would be pretty awesome in the future. o: Although I know you can make a post showing your video.
