By the way, Greg, I happened to notice that there was a fake print on SPY of 297.xx (can't remember the exact number) in the extended hours trading after the bell the other day. I get this feeling that it is a signal that it is at least the target for the next big run-up after the turbulence this month.
What do you think?

The big funds use fake prints to communicate where they want to take the prices to. Sometimes these fake prints clearly indicate the targets, but very often, there is a secret code in the number itself, and only the people targeted for the communication know how to decode and what exactly it means.
