The Fed…
As I look at the US stock market, the futures are up before the Fed speaks today.
Will the Fed raise interest rates today? How will this effect the price of precious metals and cryptos? The stock market?
Does it matter? I’m not sure if it matters as the rates have been low since the 2008-09 financial crisis and the Fed may be boxed in. Most financial experts say Janet Yellen and federal reserve board members will vote to raise rates today.
Whatever the Fed does, we have no control over the decision, however we do have control on how we protect ourselves with our investment decisions. Since, I’ve been on steemit, I want to thank the community for sharing their knowledge and experiences as I learn more and more each day. The wealth of knowledge has been incredible!
The picture is of my son in front of the Federal Reserve Building. I love being able to teach him about money, when I ask the question if he would rather have a $20 federal reserve note or a Silver Eagle? His answer “I’ll take the coin.” He’s becoming his own bank and stacking. Now to teach him about cryptos.

He is wise at a young age thanks to you Dad! You probably follow Greg Mannarino @marketreport - if not I highly recommend him as a valuable resource on this stuff. Also, Mike Maloney's video series on YouTube - 'The Hidden Secrets of Money' - it is laid out in such an effective, easy-to-understand manner that even a young person can understand and enjoy. Thanks @lanceman! I've been following Greg and Mike Maloney's for years. I've been educating myself on money since 2007 when a friend of mine introduced me to silver. I'm following you now here on steemit. Have a great one as well!
