I was in Sydney in July. The place is so over-crowded, and resource drained, that the govt have gotten on this "growth" thing as a way to try and prop up the economy. I like your reference to your pronunciation of "Melbourne". Sounds strange but they are actually pronounced "Mel-ben" and "Bris-ben".
