How I treat my STEEM rewards
Maybe some Steemit superstars use their account as a weekly paycheque. This is how I feel about my earnings.
Slow and steady wins the race, right? Buy and hodl to me, seems to make the most sense. It's no problem to change STEEM to any other crypto whenever you want, but why bother? I've said it before, STEEM is like BTC with a dozen game-changing improvements. Free, near-instant transactions of 3 seconds. Who can argue? At some point, I think Steemit will prove its worth and become a serious main 5 contender against Bitcoin.

The little I'm making here isn't worth bothering about cashing it. So everything goes into SP. I see it as a investment into Steemit, and a saving account at the same time. And not getting interest for a saving isn't really different to any bank.
I totally agree with you. Hodl and invest, Steemit is on its way to become what Facebook never could be. Hence Steem's price reaches the sky soon.

I love giving it away! It's way too easy and with zero fees, STEEM is the easiest.

I always like to get views from all sides - what's your outlook on the platform?
I disagree with the decision to make so many economic changes (hard forks loaded with tweaks) over the past year. I have no idea what to expect from month to month. It would be silly for me to hold a large stake in such an unpredictable asset.
Efforts to improve the user interface would have been more useful in my opinion.
I have to agree on this one. I just joined the platform after HF19, but from what I can gather it does not really seem like a good idea to adjust all the time. It takes quite a while for people to settle into new systems and learn the ins and outs.
The marketplace needs time (long time) to settle, and a lot of unfair/wrong/bad behaviour will stop because of the social consequences of doing so.
In the real world, you don't see the real consequences of monetary/financial policy until some years has passed by. Will be exciting to see where this goes in the future, think we'll end up alright anyways :)

I like viewing it as investing into a great project, not a good currency :)
Other projects can focus on creating the perfect money, steemit can create the perfect platform to connect to people!
