Bitcoin Backed Swiss Banknotes. Can we get something of the likes for Steem & SBD? If yes how can it be implemented?
Is this the future of money? Would you like to have access in this kind of a paper money, I would like to hold onto one of those just for the fun of it. It really blows my mind how progressive Swiss is at banking products. Also they look kinda neet aren't they :)

Is there any graphic designer out there that would be interesting into helping me create some paper notes for steem and sbd? I have no idea how this could be implemented though as I am not quite the technical guy. I guess those notes must be linked somehow with a steem address or something, right?

some more pictures of this project below in various banknotes.
It is about time that the Swiss finally got around to something the rest of us have been doing for years!
Here's some early examples from 2012:
You think there is a way to make steem paper money? Somehow.
I think there probably is some already. I don't have time to checi into it now because I am helping to organize for this weekend's seminar in Corinth. But I will check into it nexweek.
By the way, did you tell your friend goldie about the seminar? it is going to be a fabulous weekend for ladies. She would really enjoy it.

I think this is not so easy to "print" hardcopy money.
Why don't we think a card-style system?
If you need help with the QR system and furthermore printing info feel free and contact bro :)
It would be really interesting to get a physical card to work through steemconnect if possible. I would love to know how to something of the likes could be implemented. But it wouldn't work if I had to remember my active password for every transaction. It would probably need to have a pin that the user can change with his active password at will or something of the likes. Cool idea though.
You can transform your password into QR code.
This is graphical acceptable and for sure you must have nothing but a QR scanner.
You can (if it will be acceptable from steemconnect ) to be an owner of a card with a QR code, and with this anyone can make a payment request with "enter password". This is a technical issue that think must transfer to steem-programmers.
Great article, thanks for sharing. I've smashed the upvote button for you!
If you are looking to get hold of some crypto without investing or mining, look into https://www.crowdholding.com. They are a co-creation platform were you get rewarded for giving feedback to crypto startups on the platform. You can earn Crowdholding's token as well as DeepOnion, ITT, Smartcash and many other ERC-20 tokens.
It's a little bit backward since cryptos are supposed to replace paper money. But it would be interesting , just for the fun of it.
We can't ignore paper wallets. But I am on the same boat with you. Physical products though like the bitcoin backed physical coins are probably more like collectables at this point.
If a central authority is responsible to produce those banknotes and keep in reserve whatever asset they are backed off (btc, steem, sbd), don't they somehow stop being decentralized?
My thoughts for that project is to make them as a collectable or something. There is really no need in this age and era for physical representation of paper money anyway, we all know that. :)
A great thought that would help many that do not understand the crypto environment as they need the security of what they know. However I see that the world already has this currency (I do), namely a paper wallet.
Granted they are not as pretty or structured in denomination, but they are the roots of these new issues.
The numbers are the only thing that matter at any currency. But I am a fool for fancy designs :)
Is it just me or do they look much better than ordinary money????
