ScaredyCatGuide is Featured On The Rental Income Podcast - Episode 120
Hey everyone I'm excited to share with you my interview on the Rental Income Podcast. In the show I share some stories about what I have learned in rental property investing and how I got started, even while being a scaredy cat!
I'm pretty excited as this podcast gets more than 5,000 listeners the first month.

First Time Fun
Just like with most things in life. You do something the first time, learn from it and do it better the next time.
Hearing myself recorded while being interviewed was interesting. Definitely will tighten up the use of some phrases the next time. Overall I am happy with how it went though.
As always, you can find more rental property investing lessons and stories at: http://scaredycatguide.com/

nice job with the interview Mitch! Still amazes me though that so many still feel the need to use real-estate brokers. I would've thought airbnb or amazon or one of them would have nicked that one by now. lol
Thanks Alex. Honestly, I think we will get to a point where brokers become more like a flat service fee that just assist in home searches or maybe fall into a car salesman type service.
The podcast is pretty good... listening to it as I type this....
25% of people not showing up to view a rental property was interesting. So out of 10 times, 2 people wouldn't show. Ha ha... people suck. :)
Yup, people just straight flake out on their scheduled appointment. Doing me a favor, one less crappy applicant to weed out. ;-)
Thanks for listening. I definitely picked up on my verbal "ticks" real quick. Now I know going forward!
It wasn't bad at all. There was a couple spots of mumbling or going off on a tangent... but you could see you were thinking on the fly.
Usually when I do a podcast. I have some notes ready of things I'm most likely to be asked or that I want to talk about.
Quite often the notes are nothing more than phrases, words, some circled items. Some bolded headings.. Things I could look down at a sheet and in less than a 1/2 second go "oh yes... I should talk about that now".
This way it minimizes how much I have to use my brain during a live recording so it makes me sound more at ease and relaxed, which also makes the listeners at ease and more relaxed :)
Exactly, good points! Nearly all of it was off the top of my head. We discussed what we would cover before hand, but he hit me with a question out of left field couple times...lol.
tip!
Pretty cool man, thanks!
