ECNs aren't necessarily better though as the SNB fiasco highlighted. The most important is to choose a trusted broker who will pay you out.

i cant agree with you. true ecn brokers have low spread for most currency pairs but others are opposite. other brokers are can manually change some pips in chart . some times it can be enough to hit stop loss.
