Bitcoin and its gamblers

"Don't risk what you can't afford to lose"

I guess everyone did hear this sentence at least a few times and most of you prolly did'nt pay much attention to it.
It sounds logical and seems pretty simple.

Gambling with Bitcoins is the easiest way to play games for money. You don't need to show your id, don't need a bank account, and dont even need to show that you're old enough to play.
Many guys even gamble secretly in school or at work. Without even thinking about what they do.

Please don't see this as a simple activity and NEVER even get the idea you could earm money that way.
The house will always win !

A houseedge of 1 % seems like nothing, and it feels like nothing but over time it's 1 % of all the money you risk/wager. And it will eat your profits and most likely more.

I've seen so many people who made fast money in some online casinos. But when I look back now, there's almost noone that kept his winnings. And when I say winnings, I'm speaking about a couple hundret or even thousands of Bitcoins. They could have had an easy life for so many years - but they decided to keep playing...
If u win once, why wouldnd u win again ?!
You might become lucky, even twice or more often. But it's in the human nature, that you will never be satisfied.
"Just a little bit more..." you will think.
But this is already the beginning of a vicious circle.

You win - you want to win more.
You lose - you want to win your losses back.

There are no other ways for most of us.
I'm writing this from my experience.

Even if you don't lose a lot of money, but you'll lose a lot of time as well.
Sure there are some expections, some people can handle it to play for a few bucks, and when they are gone - they are done.

But this only counts for a very small part of all of us.

Anyways have a good one !

Wow, I was getting ready to write a post about something right up this alley! I will probably do it a little later today. Yesterday it hit me that I've become a bitcoin/crypto addict. I've been focusing so much on trying to make some extra satoshi that I've been neglecting my duties at the job that actually pays the bills, I've lost bitcoin I legitimately earned by gambling it away on the dice sites, I've been short tempered because I was whiny that I wasn't making enough bitcoin as quickly as I would like and worst of all I've focused on playing with digital currencies instead of spending time with my wife and sons. As you said, especially with crypto/digital currencies it's really, really easy to get into a downward spiral.

Definitly ! I could have gone a lot more into details but thats not interesting for anybody and also makes the thread unreadable.
Also tried to not include any advices because everybody NEEDS to make his experiences himself and wont listen to any advice while he's gambling.

Another sad part is that it's not enough to notice, that you have a problem. You also gotta find a solution how to handle it in future. That's what I'm still fighting with.

Hope things will go well for you. Please don't waste too much time on your "dirty hobby" and figure out what is really important for you.

I play only games for fun (:
