Visa Pays Firms to Stop Accepting Cash
Following on from a US scheme where Visa has offered 50 small firms $10,000 to stop accepting cash and use cards as the sole payment method they accept, the company is considering doing the same in the UK.
It is thought that despite the 'Bribe', most companies will be reluctant to take up the offer due to fees for card processing as well as the risk of alienating customers.
It looks like Visa has just opened up a new front in the war on cash!
Interesting post @grizgal, did not know that they are so desperate right now. Crypto on one side Cash on the other side, poor VISA. In stead of offering better prices and services they decide to give bribes. Thats fun to know.

DO NOT let the BANKSTERS stop you from using CASH. Pay with Cash as much as possible.
I agree that Cash is important and I feel that Visa is overstepping the mark with this market manipulation. According to the article it isn't working but I think cash is on the way out, just not as quickly as Visa would like.
