Accountability Standards: The Garden of Eden Daily Ledger, or How We Spend Our Freedom - 9/27/16
We are a small community of full-time volunteers, and we exist to show that anything is possible. To uphold our standards of accountability and transparency, we compile these ledgers of our production.
It has been 4 days since our last accounting.
In that time, our volunteers have:

- harvested 550 pounds of food
- trimmed 4 trees and will chop the branches for firewood
- invested 55 man hours in catering a delicious, sustainable, healthy and free 5 course meal for 100 people
- saved 750 pounds of trash from the landfill
- deep cleaned the indoor kitchen and 150 square foot outdoor food pantry
- sorted, organized, and stored 825 pounds of donated construction material
- prepared, served, and cleaned up 211 meals (on top of catering for 100 people!)
- took food to the firemen
- made 310 pounds of compost
- prepped a garden bed for spring planting (you have to plan ahead in the garden!)
- packaged 5 pounds of dried herbs for tea and smoking blends
- spread borax on the fleas under the deck, which was no small task
- raised $200 from our operations which is already dedicated to feeding, clothing, housing, and educating others
- hosted a sustainable slip n slide party
- filled 6 orders for health supplements
- harvested 3 wheelbarrows of herbs and processed them for drying
- made 5 gallons of grape wine
- sanded and began to seal our sustainable masterpiece floor, which we have done completely ourselves
Life at the Garden of Eden keeps getting better and better! No one here has a to work for the man; instead, we contribute our time, skills, resources, and passions towards helping each other, and we are able to make a meaningful impact in the world through our productive play.

I have lived out in the world where people "work" 5 days a week and don't accomplish as much as we do in months. Its just a constant prepetual wheel of making money, spending it, making it spending it...Then after a year goes by what is there to show for it?
So fulfilling to be dedicated to real purpose and to be achieving that purpose daily!
We're all grateful you had the vision and created and maintain the space for real freedom, @quinneaker! Not only are most people slaving away for money, but 99% of spending is in support of a corporate elite and global military industrial complex that doesn't consider humanity or the health of our planet. It's so fulfilling that you generously provide an option outside of that dishonorable system!

In just 4 short days we have made so many major upgrades to life--not only for ourselves, but for our local community and the greater good of all. @quinneaker, true to his vision, has built the foundation and inspired us to take action in creating a life of thrival, and to live the breathing example of what is possible. EVERyday we are leveling up and becoming more empowered. What a blessing it would be to inspire others to follow their hearts and be the change. All it takes is a commitment to values. I'm living in gratitude for doing it together. Thank you @quinneaker for sharing your dream! Life just keeps getting better and better!
Indeed it does! We made great upgrades that improve our lives immediately, but they will also pay off in the form of free meals, clothing, and shelter we're going to be able to provide for people in the future! May everyone be inspired to do the best they can!

Hahaha, we "work" harder and with more dedication than anyone we know, but it's very easy for us because we're doing exactly what we want 24/7.
I didn't realize how much gets done until these ledgers. It's really feels great to be a part of it.
