Great article! Antonopoulos has talked about how money is just a social contract and it can be anything we agree on... like a seashell or bitcoin.

Nations have dominated the money issuer role for some time now... enough that people think that's just way it is. It going to come to an end. Friedrich Hayek wrote about it in is 1974 book The Denationalization of Money and argued private money would be more stable. I agree and think cryptocurrencies will take over that role.
