Finally i see big potential in Steemit my first power up! Even a little counts now.
Before HF - 19 you could power up thousands of steem, and it barely meant anything.For a poor person like me who struggle to pay rent and bills seemed like there will be no different even if i did powered up a $200 or $500 no real difference.
Everything changed yesterday.
The changes to the impact of a 100% vote are more material. A 100% vote will be 4 times more powerful once HF19 is completed. As it stands now a single 100% vote uses only 0.5% of your remaining voting power (voting power regenerates fully over a 5 day period). That means real users would need to vote 40 times a day at full power to use most of their voting power. This leaves users who are less active unable to fully leverage their voting power. After this change, a single 100% vote will use 2% of your remaining voting power, meaning that 10 full-power votes a day will now be enough to leverage the majority of your daily voting power.
Yesterday i did power up for the first time not a big amount to some people, but it is a lot to me. $200 invested on steemit and i can say i am very happy with my decision and looking forward when i can invest some more.
I encourage everyone to invest little by little to have power on your votes.

I have been trying to increase my daily upvotes; I had no idea as a newbie that I should be doing 10+ a day.
I have Steem Powered up with every cent of SBD that I have earned, and I am no where near you in power, but with the HF I have been claiming more rewards, which I am instantly converting to SP.
My next thoughts will go to (1) should I transfer to STEEM token or should I put it into savings, or should I buy more SP.
And then, when do I get a credit card that I can covert this into money and help my hand to mouth self out on a monthly basis.
(Oh the choices one has to make.)
