The market is convinced the next move is up for the RBA. Instead the RBA may need to lower rates just to offset further rises the big banks impose from higher wholesale funding from the US as it appears the FED is close to losing control of the bond market without reversing QE.
Yep, I could see that playing out. It's likely the correction in house prices will come through a devalued AUD. Certainly won't help anyone earning AUD hoping to buy, and investors will lose real gains.
