I think in units, it does not really feel like real money.

Good luck with your challenge, just realise that you will need it even if all bets would have a positive expected value. A better challenge imo would be 1000$ to 1200$ in a couple months putting in many hours and many bets. When you approach betting with unrealistic profit growth expectation it really becomes gambling no matter how good you are. A much more boring approach and it can become an actual real investment with expected profit.
